General Description
Codylox is the first drug approved by the FDA to cure genital warts. The highly-potent agents in Codylox gel were designed to destory the virus infected tissues. Codylox should be used only for treating external genital and perianal warts.
How to apply Codylox gel
Carefully follow the directions outlined below. You should start with using Codylox gel twice each day for 3 consecutive days. Then take a rest from Codylox for 4 days. It is advised to not treat more than 10 cm of infected tissue. Don not use more than 0.5 ml of Codylox solution in a day. Repeat this cycle at weekly intervals for no more than 4 weeks.
Warnings and safety precautions

Codylox is categorized as pregnancy C class drug by FDA, meaning that the exact effect of Codylox to an unborn baby is not yet known. Therefore, you are strongly advised to not use Codylox during pregnancy. Codylox may also get transferred into breast milk.
If you missed a dose
If you happened to miss a dose simply go back to and carry on with your original schedule. Do this as soon as possible unless it's time for the next administration. Don't take two doses at once.
Side effects you may encounter
Stop using Codylox immediately and seek medical attention if you experience any of the following conditions:
- difficulty in breathing;
- closing of the throat;
- swelling of the face, tongue, lips;
- burning sensation, stinging, or pain;
- hives.

How to store Codylox
Keep Codylox at room temperature in dry place, away from children's reach. If your medicine has expired you can safely throw it away.
Overdose symptoms and what to do when you suspect an overdose
Seek immediate medical attention if fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or sensation of numbness or tingling in limbs, irregular heartbeats are experienced. In more serious cases overdose may lead to confusion, seizures and unconsciousness.
